The Off Switch at School

Mobile phone usage at schools is an increasing problem in education settings. Whether distraction, online safety, or bullying, the Off Switch is a voluntary way to prevent access to troublesome apps whilst maintaining communication methods to parents and carers.

For Parents

You and your child can use the Off Switch to prevent use of your chosen apps whilst at school. Simply 'tap out' whilst at home, or in the car at school drop off to disable access, and tap back in after the school bell.

During that time your child will have access to only the agreed, and permitted apps from their pre-selected lists.

For Schools

The Off Switch token can be school branded and provided to all children as a voluntary way of disconnecting from phone usage, without risk of control issue, school administrative burden, or physical confiscation of devices.

Along with an informative education program on the dangers of being online, the Off Switch can be used by children to voluntarily disconnect during school time.

We also provide an option for schools to be able to encourage disconnection at the school gate, with a universal school token, that students tap as they enter and leave school premsies!

Key Advantages for schools
